The Perisesarma Bidens is commonly known as the Red-clawed Crab. It is of the Sesarmidae Family and was first published in 1835.
The Red-clawed Crab can have a leg span up to 10 cm. Carapace length is usually no more than 5 cm.
Male Red Claw Crabs tend to have larger, redder claws and are more brightly colored, whereas the females have smaller, darker claws.
