Endangered Japanese Night Heron spotted in Hong Kong after 26 years

A Japanese night heron was found in December by two expatriates at an enclave in Sai Kung, said Yu Yat-tung, research manager of the Hong Kong Bird Watching Society. He estimated that the bird, which is as precious as black-faced spoonbill, stayed in the city for about a week.
