The Ypthima baldus is commonly known as the Common Fivering Butterfly. It is of the Nymphalidae Family and was first published in 1775.
The Common Fivering female is slightly lighter in color than the male. The upperside is brown with a paler brown on the underside. From both above and below, the distict yellow ringed black spots can be seen.
The wing span is usually between 38-46 mm.
